Our Impact

The KidSMILES Outreach Program not only teaches children and their families about the importance of good, daily oral hygiene habits and healthy eating, but it also encourages families to find a dental home. Approximately 900 children call KidSMILES their dental home; 45% of those patients learned about KidSMILES through our outreach program.

What We Do

Pediatric Dentistry

We specialize in treating children ages 21 and under in a child-friendly environment. We have beautiful nautical wall art in all of our treatment areas, TV’s and DVD’s in our treatment rooms, and a fun and inviting children’s area highlighting our Columbus Blue Jacket Friend, Stinger!

Educational Outreach

Thanks to many generous grant partners, we are able to provide a FREE dental hygiene program to central Ohio preschools, elementary schools, and community service agencies that serve at-risk youth. Prevention is an important step in dental health.

Golf outings, silent auctions, Mother’s Day 5K’s, and OSU Tailgates have all been ways that we celebrate our mission. Mark October 3, 2020, on your calendar for our annual Wine Tasting Event for KidSMILES at Medallion Country Club!

Volunteer Coordination

We love our volunteers! They are at the heart of what we do and help us provide quality dental care and dental outreach to the community. Each year approximately 300 volunteers give their time to support our mission.

We are thankful for our many partners that have joined us in our mission to change vulnerable smiles. Together we will change the oral health crisis in Ohio.

Contributions large or small make a difference in the lives of the families we serve. Consider how you can help change the life of a vulnerable child by giving a one-time gift, a re-occurring monthly gift or and in-kind gift.
