KidSMILES serves families without the resources to afford traditional dental care, but we need financial support to fulfill our mission.

Volunteer
Did you know? Dental care is the number one unmet health care need for children in the state of Ohio.

Patient Appointments
We were founded in 2008 as a solution to a critical shortage of affordable dental options for low-income families in central Ohio.

Patient Forms
KidSMILES requires a health history and photo release form to be completed prior to your child's examination.
KidSMILES Pediatric Dental Clinic
KidSMILES is a non-profit located in Columbus, Ohio. Our top priority is helping children (21 years old and younger) achieve and maintain dental wellness. Dr. Amana Farrkh and our team of volunteer dentists, hygienists and dental assistants offer comprehensive services including: dental exams, cleanings, X-rays, fluoride treatments, sealants, resin (tooth colored) fillings, stainless steel crowns, and extractions. Our network of volunteer dental specialists see our patients in their office free of charge.
What We're Working For

TREAT
Helping at-risk, vulnerable children get the dental care they need but can’t afford in a dignified, caring, positive environment.

EDUCATE
Educating underprivileged Central Ohio children & parents about how to brush, floss & get the dental treatment they need for a healthy life.

ADVOCATE
Championing the cause for families that cannot afford dental care. Every dollar donated to KidSMILES goes directly to help a child in need.
KidSMILES Educational Outreach Programs
Since 2011, our outreach program has reached over 57,000 children at over 145 sites. We provide outreach to preschools, central Ohio school districts, and social service agencies.

Stories of Impact
We were excited to be chosen as an Aetna Grant Recipient for the first time in December 2019! Their foundation fell in love with our mission and reached out to us to support the impactful work we are doing to save the smiles and overall health of underserved children in central Ohio. We also received a Community Heart Award from Aetna to recognize our many years of dedication to finding a solution to the oral health care crisis in Ohio. We are excited to have a new and ongoing partnership with Aetna.
